Today’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is kind of freebie: Top ten books with __________ characters. So I have decided to go with: Top ten bookish characters i.e. characters who love reading. Well, isn’t it make you happy whenever a character appears in a book who love reading as much as you do? And why not, #bookish people are an awesome breed 😀 Instead of favourites, I have just added the characters, from my recent reads, who love reading, because how can I even pick a favourite among readers? So let’s get started!
Month: September 2017
Welcome to my wrap-up of #TheReadingQuest readathon. The Reading Quest was hosted by Aentee @ Read At Midnight and ran from August 13th to September 10th. All the character and graphics have been created by CW of Read, Think, Ponder. I know, I am too late for this wrap-up, but yet, here I am 😀 This quest was really fun to do, though I read totally different books that I actually intended to read at the start of the quest 😛 I am glad that nevertheless, I was able to complete my character class “Mage” at least. So, let’s see what I achieved during this challenge. For my original signup post, click here.
Hey Guys! Happy Saturday. How was your week? Mine was quite busy and tiring. It feels like it’s been ages since I posted anything here. This post contains basically the haul from past 2 weeks. I mainly collected some of the books that I intend to read over this fall, while some I got for just the beautiful edition 😀 Let’s start our ride 😛 So, as I mentioned earlier, past two weeks were great in terms of purchasing new books (but were miserable for my pocket 🙁 ). Most of these books I intend to read in the coming months (doesn’t this every book lover SAY WISH? ).
Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post. I don’t participate in all the topics, but rather the ones that interest me and I can think of 10 answers. Make sense though, isn’t it? So today’s topic is one of such: Top ten books on my fall TBR. Now, when we talk about any season like fall, winter etc. then I am not really a kind of person reading according to the seasons. I just enjoy reading anything, anytime. So today, my list basically consists of anticipated books that I wish to read in next 2 months. Most of the books are pre-ordered ones so I don’t know when they will arrive, but I guess, I can stick with the list with some books from my never-ending TBR pile 😀 Without further ado, let’s see what reads I wish to cover this fall.
Well, I know this is a pretty late post, as I was supposed to officially post it when Read.Sleep.Repeat’s ARC August Challenge finished. But trust me, I totally forgot to post it and when I saw a post from a fellow blogger, I realized that it’s due to me too. probably, the half reason may be that I didn’t actually finish my goal? Well, whatever is this reason, let’s begin without further ado.
Hello folks! How are you all been? How is this week treating you? Mine is as always, tedious and boring. So, today I opened my blog for writing a post and I realized that today is the 2 month anniversary of my blog (if that is even a thing 😛 ). Wow! That felt great you know. I never thought that I could have pulled this so far in spite of my busy schedule. But yes, here we are. I know, I know, you must be thinking CUM’ON, IT’S JUST 2 MONTHS, not 2 YEARS! But believe me, it felt as if I have already lived 2 years with it 😀
When I won this book in a giveaway on Instagram, I was like super excited. I didn’t know what was this book about exactly. I just saw this book doing rounds on Instagram. So I was excited to get my hands on it. When it arrived, I instantly decided that it is going to be my next read, and alas! Here we are. I have never been so happy after reading a book that I got in a giveaway. This book was absolutely magical!
Happy Monday guys (which is actually never happy 😀 ) and welcome to yet another award that I was nominated for. This time it is The Unique Blogger Award. I was nominated for this award by not one but two lovely bloggers – Danielle from The Introverted Book Nerd and Maggie from The Caramel Files. Thank you so much, Danielle and Maggie for thinking that I am unique 😀
I tried to do some research about this award so that I can know who the original curator is, but I couldn’t find any. Anyhow, this is truly a great way to give recognition to some of your favourites blog. So without much further delay, let’s start.
Hey Guys! Happy Saturday and welcome to yet another edition of Stacking the Shelves 🙂 As the title suggests, today’s books are one for which I was waiting for a long time and finally they arrived! Today it is going to be a comparatively smaller post. So let’s take a ride.
I read this composition way back in February this year. This was my first attempt in reading the genre- Poetry, and to my expectations, it did surprise me. Though it was a quick read and I finished it within an hour, it was just BEAUTIFUL.
I had read other reviews about this book and I can understand why some people have a different opinion on this. Probably they have read too mean poetry and thus expected it to be something different. But for me, as a reader of poetry for the first time (obviously after school 😛 ), it was wonderful.
