Book Review | HARAPPA: Curse of the Blood River by Vineet Bajpai | A vanished civilization?

Harappa by Vineet Bajpai

Why I was intrigued towards reading this was because of the title itself: Harappa. I have never read anything about this civilization, of course except the course books. So, when I got a chance to review this book I, I grabbed it instantly. And I was not disappointed at all.
The story starts when Vidyut Shashtri, the main protagonist of the story, is called upon to Varanasi where his great-grandfather, Dwarka Shashtri, is on deathbed. Vidyut is a successful entrepreneur and an eligible bachelor who lives with her girlfriend Damini who is a journalist. When Vidyut reaches Varanasi, his great-grandfather starts telling him the story of the curse that has been brought upon his entire generation and the humankind by his ancestor Vivasvan Shatri.

Tag Monday | Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag (2017)

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag

Hi everyone! This is my first ever book tag. I wasn’t tagged for this by anyone, but I really loved this book tag and it was open for anyone to do. So why not? Mid-Year Book Freak Out tag was created by Chami @ ReadLikeWildFire and Ely @ Ely Jayne on Youtube. It’s where we look back at (and freak out over) the books we’ve read during the past six months.
I know that the name says “Mid-Year” but it’s almost end of the year, so I am pretty late for it. The thing is, I discovered it too late. But I hope you would still enjoy it! It’s a good way to revise and look up to all the books that I have read in 2017 so far.

Stacking the Shelves #3 | Time to add beautiful editions in your collection

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course Ebooks! If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Hey Guys, how you all are been? It’s a long time since I have done a Stacking the Shelves post. In fact, I haven’t done one in the entire last month!! But it doesn’t mean that I haven’t purchased any books 😛 During the last month, I mainly purchased some beautiful editions that I got in a used books sale event known as Books by Weight.

Monthly Wrap-up | August 2017

Monthly Wrap-up : August 2017

Okay! I know I am saying this again, but is August really finished? Where did the time go? It’s like I am aging really fast 😀 Nevertheless, this month was kind of Okay for me – no big activities, medium number of reads etc. Overall, a quiet month. I am a day late for posting by monthly wrap-up, but what can I say? Life is being bi*ch 😀 Let’s see what I concluded this month.
