First of all, tell me what have you thought when you read the title? Creepy, mysterious, haunting? This is what I felt exactly after finishing this novella. I have to admit something here – I have never felt so terrified reading any book like I felt during reading this, although it’s not a horror book. Can you believe this? This book was so creepy and haunting that I literally had goosebumps just after I finished the FIRST page. But I think this is the thing which makes it unique. The main motive was, I think, to make the readers understand how the love can make you blind and can force you to make the choices which you would have never made otherwise.

So another Saturday, another Stacking the Shelves post 😀 I sometimes think, can I actually, ever, stop buying the books? And my brain answers this: Are you Kidding? But the truth is I am not even guilty 😀 Is this make me bad? I guess not! So this week, I finally got some of the books that #bookstagram community was constantly raving about this whole year. Actually, this is the festive season in India (Diwali is around the corner, YaY!), so the prices were actually down or say there were huge discounts. And what is even the benefit of discounts if we didn’t buy books? Right? “D
Before reading any further, just keep one thing in mind: This book is NOT just what the title says! I know, whenever anyone sees this title, the first thing that comes to mind is that it contains just the erotic stories. So if anyone doesn’t read Erotica, (s)he will certainly not pick this. Even, I thought so in the place but since I like reading Erotica, I didn’t mind. But today, when I am writing this review, I am really happy that I read this book. It has some erotic stories but yet it is a tale of self-being and expressing your desires openly. This book has so much going on beyond the steamy title.
Happy Tuesday guys! This time, I am doing a little twist to Top Ten Tuesday’s topic. Today’s topic is: Ten Books With Fall/Autumn Covers/Themes (If the cover screams fall to you, or the books give off a feeling of being Fallish). Basically I can’t think of 10 such books so instead, I have twisted the topic to this: 10 book covers that I fall in love at first sight. It is meant to be about book covers anyway, so I think it perfectly fits. Isn’t it? 😀
Hello, everyone. So after a long time I am posting another tag. I was tagged by Phannie @ Phannie the Ginger Bookworm to do this tag. Thank you Phannie! Getting to know you better tag was created by Leo @Inkgirl Words where you have to answer specific questions so that your readers can know you better 🙂 Seems fun, right?
John Green was already one of my favourite authors before reading this book. I had read just The Fault in Our Stars by him yet I liked him. His writing is so raw and real. When I finished this book, I was not sure how to write its review. Whether to be happy or to be sad. I was conflicted literally because of the ending? I am not sure if it was meant to end like that or it was on purpose? But yet, I love the overall book. But here, I should definitely mention that I would have enjoyed it way more if I would have read it like 3-4 years back.
Happy Saturday guys!! How was your week? Mine was a busy one, as usual, with lots of office work. I am really sad that I get so tired these days that I couldn’t read anything 🙁 But I have got a shower of review copies this week (as the title suggests) 😀 Let’s see what I gathered this week.
P.S. Did you like my new Stacking the Shelves graphic? 😀
I know its already been 4 days since September finished and I am little late for my wrap-up post. But life is kinda playing- I was travelling last week so all my schedule just got jumbled up 😀 I was not able to read more, my husband got sick in the middle of the month, then we had our trip planned for the last weekend, most of my time was focused on creating good graphics for my blog? So overall, the reading time just got cut and I just read 4 books 🙁 September was a tricky month for me. Let’s go further into the details.
Today’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is: Top ten books boyfriends/girlfriends. I have decided to go with: Top ten boyfriends, because I am a girl and totally swoon over the fictional crushes? Isn’t this topic interesting? Though I had hard time managing to find 10 such boyfriends, I finally did it. I haven’t even read many books in the series, but obviously I have watched their TV adaptations and I was not willing to leave the out of the list. So let’s start with today’s list.
