Stacking the Shelves #7 | Bookstagram effect

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course Ebooks!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

So another Saturday, another Stacking the Shelves post πŸ˜€ I sometimes think, can I actually, ever, stop buying the books? And my brain answers this:

Are you Kidding Gif

But the truth is I am not even guilty πŸ˜€ Is this make me bad? I guess not! So this week, I finally got some of the books that #bookstagram community was constantly raving about this whole year. Actually, this is the festive season in India (Diwali is around the corner, YaY!), so the prices were actually down or say there were huge discounts. And what is even the benefit of discounts if we didn’t buy books? Right? πŸ˜€

So let’s see what I acquired this week.

Turtles all the way down by John Green

Finally, I got my most anticipated read of the year in my hands. It is freaking beautiful. I was going to start it today, but was busy in cleaning house πŸ™ You know, Diwali is around the corner. But hopefully I can start it today night πŸ™‚

Not many have read it yet, but a few who have read, have enjoyed it and have given really amazing reviews. Well, why not, It’s John Green after all πŸ™‚

All the Bright Places by Jennifer NivenThe Tree with a Thousand ApplesThe Snow Child by Eowyn IveyI'll Give you the SunThe Red Haired Woman

I have heard great things about all of these and I hope I can read them soon. And look at all these covers πŸ˜€

NetGalley ARCs

So after a few months of not requesting anything from NetGalley, I finally broke my spirit and requested a few books. And luckily I got approved for them though I haven’t thought that I would πŸ˜€ In fact, all these books are scheduled to be released in 2018 so I am tension free for now πŸ˜›

Let's Chat

Have you read any of these books? Is there any book in this list that you purchased this week too? Is any of these books in your TBR? What have you added to your TBR?

Leave me a link to your Stack, and I’ll check it out πŸ™‚ I’ll be back soon with another Stacking the Shelves post.

There is never anything wrong with obtaining more books! Well, that is, unless your bank account has a problem with it. πŸ˜‰ I’ve seen a lot of excitement over the new John Green book. It’s not my type of read but I’m sure it’s as amazing as people have been saying. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a fabulous week. =)

I have actually stopped buying or requesting for pretty much two weeks now! Very happy about that. Just two books hauled in the past two weeks! I’ve never been this good in the entire year xD
Well, at least you’ve got our support group to help you through those ARCs πŸ˜€
    Have a great week!

The #Bookstagram community also had a effect on my book buying choices. I’ve found so many great books thanks to the book community on Instagram. Also, I end up buying more physical books than I used to so that I can take photos and share them on Instagram.

    Happy readings!
