Hola guys! How are you all? It was quite a busy week and I feel as if I am posting something on my blog after ages! It’s kind of true, as I haven’t posted anything between my last TTT and this one? What’s even happening? It is like apocalypse 😀 I was travelling from the last few days so it was justified 😀 But nevertheless, I am back with another TTT post.
Today’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is: Top ten books boyfriends/girlfriends. I have decided to go with: Top ten boyfriends, because I am a girl and totally swoon over the fictional crushes? Isn’t this topic interesting? Though I had a hard time managing to find 10 such boyfriends, I finally did it. I haven’t even read many books in the series, but obviously, I have watched their TV adaptations and I was not willing to leave them out of the list. So let’s start with today’s list.
Top Ten Book Boyfriends
1. Jake: You Loved Me At My Darkest by Evie Harper (You Loved Me #1)
You Loved Me series was one of my first series read of the year (and probably the last?). I went into reading this series blindly and I instantly fell in love with it. You Loved Me At My Darkest was the first book in the series and I totally fell for the main protagonists Jake and Lily. Jake was kind of a boyfriend who showed that he was too bad and dark from outside. But yet, he was too weak for his love. He was willing to sacrifice anything for his love. That’s some #boyfriendgoals? Plus he was super hot. While reading about him, I thought many times what if he was my boyfriend? 😛
2. Kayne: You Loved Me At My Weakest (You Loved Me #2)
Kayne is my another favourite from You Loved Me series. I must say Evie Harper makes all her male characters so damn hot! Kayne is a kind of boyfriend which every girl needs when she is at the lowest point in her life. He did the same for Emily. He was always there for her even when she thought that she is not worth him. Is there anyone real like him? sigh
3. Damon Salvatore: The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith
Damon!! Who doesn’t know him? He is a heartthrob for millions. I should admit here that I HAVEN’T READ the books but I have watched the entire The Vampire Dairies series, so I can safely count him. Stefan was definitely my hero in the beginning of the series, but Damon changed that feeling eventually as the series progressed. I hated him in the starting. He was so mean. But then his meanness, his witty dialogues, his seductiveness and darkness, all made the perfect combination. And who can’t love his crooked smile?
4. Augustus Waters: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Augustus was a character that I wished to live long, you know. If you love TFIOS, then you can’t deny it. Though his affair with Hazel was short lived because of his illness, I definitely wished to see him alive (if only there was a miracle!)
5. Caleb Gallo: Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
This is another series which I haven’t read (and probably will never read, because it’s too long?) but watched the TV adaptation and totally loved it. Though all the couples were perfect, Caleb was definitely my favourite. His passion, love and care for Hannah were just perfect. “Swooning”
6. Park: Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Park was rather a shy character, but too protective for his girlfriend Eleanor. And who possibly can’t love a boyfriend who loves to read? 😀
7. Tyler Barnes: Long Way Home by Neve Cottrell (Mangrove Island #1)
Tyler Barnes was a kind of perfect, cheesy boyfriend. He loved to give surprises to her girlfriend Alexis. Who will not fall for a guy who picked the most beautiful place for their date? The perfect place was- a simple boat ride surrounded by fireflies. Isn’t this beautiful?
8. Edward Cullen: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
I haven’t read this series too, but I totally loved Edward. He was my first vampire crush 😀 I know many of you don’t like this series/movies, but I kinda like them?
9. Gerry Clark: P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern
I am kind of emotional by just mentioning his name here. He was so perfect. This movie just shooked me (Yes I haven’t read the book yet, I know!) How can anybody love someone so deeply that they plan a year ahead for their loved one? That seems so out of this world and perfect.
10. Clay Jensen: Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
I know, I know he was not exactly the boyfriend of Hannah Baker but I kept on thinking what if Hannah was still alive. She obviously didn’t accept his love, otherwise, he could have saved her. But I guess, he definitely had the potential to be one of the best boyfriends. 🙂
Pin it for later ♥
I had many other characters in my mind but it was meant to show just ten so. Are any of these boyfriends on your list too? What are some of your favourites? Leave me your link of top boyfriends and I will check it out 🙂
