Hey Sim! I loved that each of your books introduced you to something. I think that a book’s ability to transport us somewhere else and show us new things is the real magic of reading!
I’d definitely agree with Harry Potter. The other books, I’m sorry to say, I haven’t read (yet)!
But a listing of books I’m grateful for…..
Since I haven’t read Anne Frank, I would say Night, by Eli Wiesel.
Since I haven’t read Game of Thrones, I would say The Stormlight Archive, by Brandon Sanderson.
I would add Battle Cry of Freedom, by James McPherson, which taught me to love history.
Also Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, for unmasking evil for me.
Also To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, for teaching me about integrity and courage.
And finally Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, for giving me a love of dinosaurs and reading.
    Happy holidays!
