Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new topic is posted and the bloggers can share their own list accordingly. For info about the topics and how to participate, click here.

Happy Tuesday guys! How was your Christmas (if you celebrate)? Last week I posted books that I would love to get from Santa, but unfortunately, I didn’t get any πŸ™ We don’t celebrate Christmas here so it is kind of understood and I don’t have bookish friends either πŸ˜›

So let’s go through today’s topic of TTT: Top ten books I’m looking forward to in 2018! Though I am quite active on Instagram still I miss new releases πŸ˜› So this topic was quite difficult for me to compose. But here I am, putting together this list from my recent hopping!

Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward to In 2018!

Furyborn by Claire LegrandThe Belles by Dhonielle ClaytonFrom Twinkle With Love by Sandhya MenonPuddin' by Julie MurphyA Court of Frost And Starlight by Sarah.J. Maas

I got approved for the ARC of Furyborn last month from NetGalley and I am more than happy. This book is on almost everyone’s TBR so I am excited to read it soon, hopefully in Jan itself. I feel that I haven’t actually read any fantasy this year? But next year is going to be different in terms of fantasy read. The Belles is quite popular among 2018 releases and the blurb is super exciting. I am not sure how I will get this book but that’s a question for future πŸ˜›

I haven’t read When Dimple Met Rishi yet, but in my defense I am going to read it soon and I already know that I am going to like it πŸ˜› When I heard about the next Sandhya Menon‘s book, From Twinkle with Love, and saw it’s cover, I added it instantly to my TBR mountain.

I am currently reading Dumplin’ and quite enjoying it. So definitely I am going to add the next book in the series, Puddin’ to my TBR πŸ™‚ I have never ever read any Sarah J. Maas book (yup, #sorrynotsosorry). I have ACOTAR series for so long now but I guess the hype around that series actually made me not to read it? (you get what I mean?). But instead of that, I am still excited for the next book, A Court of Frost and Starlight, in the ACOTAR series!

Batman Nightwalker by Marie LuCatwoman Soulstealer by Sarah J. MaasA thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. DrewHearts of Resistance by Soraya LanePralay by Vineet Vajpai - coming soon

I am a huge fan of DC so I am not going to miss this DC Icons series. I already have the Wonder Woman (that I am yet to read) and loved the movie. Now I am looking forward to Batman: Nightwalker by Marie Lu and Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas.

A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews is a debut by our own beloved Cait from Paper Fury. I guess if you are on blogosphere and Twitter for quite some time, then you must know her. She is the most creative and hilarious person and she loves cakes πŸ˜€ I am so excited to read her debut and I am sure that it will be great.

I read Wives of War earlier this year and totally loved it. So when the author Soraya Nicholas approached me for reviewing her next book, Hearts of Resistance, which is set to release in Jan 2018, I obviously said yes! There has to be one historical fiction on your list, right?

This list wouldn’t be complete without including any Indian release. I read Harappa this year which was totally unexpected read for me and I immensely enjoyed it. The next book in the series, Pralay, is set to release in 2018 and I can’t wait!

Super excited for those DC releases! Although I have to admit I still need to read Wonder Woman as well haha.
I can’t wait to get my hands on Cait’s book 😍 Can’t believe I forgot to add hers to my list!

Have you read the Infernal Guard trilogy by SGD Singh? It has Hindu mythology and the books get better and better <3

I think the last time I saw a DC novel, it was a prequel of Batman and Robin that featured Robin being kicked out, or running away, and then launching a solo career and being beaten repeatedly by some punk with a hockey mask until he learned more superhero tricks. Have fun with those two!

When there is too much hype around a book/series, I also don’t feel like reading it. Maybe when people stop talking about the book/series, I may pick it up from my TBR pile.

I’m so jealous! My request for a Furyborn ARC was denied. I’ll be waiting to read your review – so far, this book has only received raving reviews. I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

    Happy readings! πŸ˜‰

Oh this is such a great list! I am also anticipating The Belles, it’s probably my most anticipated reads for 2018 ahah, and also that new Sandhya Menon book, I LOVED When Dimple Met Rishi, hope you will just as well πŸ™‚ and Cait’s book, obviously, I can’t WAIT to read that one πŸ™‚

A Thousand Perfect Notes was on my list this week too, can’t wait to read Cait’s book! The Belles sounds intriguing, I have an ARC of Furyborn but am still not entirely sure what it’s about-it was in November’s Fairyloot box. I still need to catch up with the ACOTAR series (yet to read ACOWAR), though ACOFAS does sound good. I’m not sure about Catwoman, superheroes have never really been my thing, but I love SJM so I’ll still read it no doubt.

Yay to The Belles! I cannot wait to read that one. Puddin’ sounds good (I still have Dumplin’ to read) and From Twinkle, with love sounds worth a try. Good luck on your list.

I want to read more Sci-Fi in 2018 – specifically books set in space.
I haven’t heard of most of these, but I do want to read A Thousand Perfect Notes. πŸ™‚ I always love Cait’s snippets so I can’t wait to read her novel!

So many amazing books I can’t wait to get my hands on! The majority of the ones on your list are definitely at the top of my Wishlist for 2018! I didn’t get any books either because my family or friends aren’t even into reading so, it was kind of expected. I’m extremely overwhelmed by the amount of books coming out and I’ll probably be broke by the end of the year
    – that hasn’t even arrived yet – though, just a side note πŸ˜€ Hope you’re having a wonderful week!
