Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course Ebooks!

Happy Saturday guys!! So the first Saturday of 2018. How are you guys feeling? How were these few days of 2018 been so far? Mine is quite similar to the days of 2017 πŸ˜› Just office work and all.

One of my goal of 2018 is to purchase fewer books and I guess this week successfully passed πŸ˜› (Let’s see for how many weeks I can continue this!) But yes, I did get some review copies and a few of my NetGalley requests got accepted. So I guess my TBR is still going to increase anyway πŸ˜€ So let’s see what I gathered in the first week of 2018.

NetGalley ARCs

1984: India's Guily Secret by Pav Singh

I was longing to read some cute middle-grade book this month so I was quite excited when my request for Spin the Golden Light Bulb by Jackie Yeager got approved πŸ˜€ Though it got approved little late as it is scheduled to release on 9th this month, but I guess it’s okay with me (after the existing pile of overdue ARCs πŸ˜› ). 1984: India’s Guilty Secret by Pav Singh is a nonfiction about a topic that I wanted to read for so long. So when I saw it on NetGalley, I couldn’t pass.

Review Copies

A Home For Urvashi Mens and Dreams: In the Dhauladhar

I have heard great things about A Home For Urvashi by Sanchali Bhattacharya and Men And Dreams: In the Dhauladhar by Kochery C. Shibu from fellow bloggers. Though I get these beauties little late because of my home change and all, I am excited to go through these beauties. I hope they turn out as good as I have heard of them πŸ™‚

Let's Chat

So that’s it for me guys for this week.

Is there any book in this list that you have read?

Is any of these books on your TBR? What have you added to your TBR in the last week of this year?

Leave me a link to your Stack, and I’ll check it out πŸ™‚ I’ll be back soon with another Stacking the Shelves post.

That is a great 2018 goal!! I keep occasionally thinking of making that goal, but I’m pretty sure I would fail. Though I am always proud of myself when my StS is short. πŸ™‚ Great haul!

I’ve never heard of these before. I also don’t read a lot of nonfiction, so that explains why I haven’t heard of the one. ,)

I hope you enjoy your new books, and thanks for visiting Shell’s Stories!

I wish you luck with your goal to buy fewer books. I need to stay away from NetGalley and Edelweiss . . . Those are my two biggest weak areas. Spin the Golden Light Bulb sounds like a good one! I’m glad you were approved. I look forward to seeing what you think after you read it! Your other books look really good too! I hope you enjoy them all! Have a great week!

These books are all new to me. I hope you enjoy them all. Late approvals are great but can really make the reading schedule a little hard to manage. Have a great week!

One of my goals for this year is to purchase fewer books too. And, surprisingly, I was able not to buy a single book yet. However, I did request some books on Netgalley. So, TBR pile keeps growing…

I confess that I haven’t heard of any of these books before. But A Home for Urvashi caught my attention.

    Happy readings! πŸ˜‰
