I try to write whatever I truly felt (of course in a simple language) about the book, and thus try to keep the rating genuine.
Generally, I’ll include following things in my reviews (not in specific order):
- General book details and source from where I got the book
- Book synopsis and cover from Goodreads (of the edition that I have read)
- Book Genres
- An honest and fair review divided into various section
- Book rating
- Some book quotes that I liked
- Book rating
- Author’s description and point of contact
My rating scale is listed down below which I will use in all my book reviews (I hope you like it 🙂 ).
1 Star – Despised it (which is very rare for me)!
I really didn’t like it and would definitely won’t talk about it. I don’t usually DNF the books because I like to appreciate the time and effort that a writer has put into writing the book.
2 Stars – It was Meh!
I didn’t like it that much, but neither hated it. Probably it was not for me.
3 Stars – It was Okay!
It was an OK read, little bit enjoyable but not that great read or something extraordinary. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone until the person like that genre.
3.5 Stars – It was Enjoyable!
It was pretty good. I had a few issues but enjoyed it a lot. Would definitely recommend it to read at least once.
4 Stars – Really Liked it!
I enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend it to read and maybe re-read (my most ratings fall under this 😛 )
4.5 Stars – Loved it!
I truly loved it. It was such a great read and I enjoyed it thoroughly and would love to recommend it to anyone (even if they are not asking to 😛 ). It will remain with me for a long time.
5 Stars – Absolute Favourite!
I just loved it with all my heart and soul and will remain in my mind for days and months or maybe forever, and I won’t miss any chance to feature it somewhere or discuss it 😀
