I don’t think that anyone in the book community doesn’t know about this book. This is a classic – a must read classic which everyone is supposed to read. I mean that’s the point of including it in the list of must read classics in a lifetime. I couldn’t agree more. This is an epic tale of family love, racism before world war and the existential circumstances way back then. I know this is one of the favourite books of most of the people and I can understand the reasons, but for me, it was not a perfect 5-star read. I had some issues with this book which explains a star less rating. Let’s go into the details.

Since this was a short series, I decided to do a #DoubleReview. I should tell you that this was my first ever Manga.. like ever. Obviously I didn’t knew beforehand about manga so I had some trouble reading it at first. But after some research, I was on track, and oh boy it was exactly as the movie (minus songs and detailed graphics). Yes, this is an adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast movie which was released recently starring Emma Watson.
Before starting this book, I knew that it is about Russian revolution, about which I know nothing. But, I didn’t even tried to know about it and was just relied on the book itself. I believed that being a classic and of a different era, it will be difficult to read and understand, but to my contrary believe, it was funny, entertaining and a perfect satire. I really enjoyed the overall journey of Manor Farm becoming the Animal Farm and then converting back to the Manor Farm. The story is about a farm where all the animals took over the farm by pushing out the farm’s owner……
