I am a proud Indian.  I feel lucky that I grew in this country which has diverse cultures and extended heritage as well as vast literature.  When it comes to India, nothing can be just simple. So when I decided to do this challenge, I knew that I would have vast options in front of me to choose from.

The Challenge

Basically, this challenge is about reading a book from each state and union territory of India. Currently, India has 29 states and 7 union territories. So, the goal is read a book written by the author of that state or union territory (whether born or residing permanently).
