top-ten-tuesday-flippingthruthepages

Happy Tuesday guys! I missed the last week’s TTT post because of all the travelling but now, here I am 😀 Yesterday, I saw an amazing post on Book Riot: 50 beautiful book covers featuring black women. After this post, I instantly wanted to create my own list. So for today, my TTT topic is Ten Beautiful Book Covers Featuring Black Women I Want to Read instead of the original topic which was books I’ve lost interest in.

Stacking the Shelves #17

Stacking the Shelves

Happy Saturday guys!! So how was your week? Mine was pretty hectic with all the office stuff but finally, my task is completed 😀 Now I can happily go on vacation for friend’s wedding 🙂 But this month is not good for me in terms of reading. I don’t know why but I am not inclined towards the reading. Maybe because of tensed days? Hopefully, it gets better after I come back 🙂 In spite of not reading much, I collected a few ARCs within the last two weeks (if you remember, I told in my last STS that I would now do the STS post every alternate Saturday). Let’s see what I collected.

Five Famous Book Series I Won’t Be Reading Anytime Soon (or ever?)

Happy Tuesday guys! Today’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is Top Ten Books I Can’t Believe I Read. But again I am taking the plunge and my today’s topic is Five Famous Book Series I Won’t Be Reading Anytime Soon (or ever?). I have already discussed here how I don’t love reading series that much. But there are certain ones which compel you towards themselves to read them while there are a few which simply doesn’t make that appeal to you. So today’s post is about some of those series which I don’t see myself reading anytime soon. In fact, there is very rare chance that I will ever read these. I know some of these are pretty famous series and I understand why, but they are simply not attracting me towards them 😛

Happy Saturday guys!! So this is the last Saturday of the first month of 2018. One month already went! Phew, where does the time go? How is your reading going until now? I had a good start at the year start, as I said in my last STS, but then, I just slowed down 😛 I guess I become lazy. Nevertheless, as a whole the progress is good and I am happy. Also, now I have decided to do STS posts on alternate Saturday. I don’t want to post when I have only 2 books on my list or none. Instead, I want to post a book review on alternate Saturday, because I thought that only one book review on Monday is too less and I have gathered so many reviews but have no slot free. I hope this turns out to be a better idea.

My Top Ten Bookish Pet Peeves

Happy Tuesday guys. Another Tuesday, another Top Ten list. Those who don’t know yet, TTT has been moved to That Artsy Reader Girl from this week. My Photoshop is not working (it has expired 🙁 ) so I was not able to update it in the post image, but I’ll update that info soon.

So, this week’s TTT topic was: Bookish Resolutions/Goals. But I already did a post talking about my bookish resolutions of 2018 so I didn’t feel like repeating it. Instead, I have selected a past topic: My Top Ten Bookish Pet Peeves.

Ten Books I Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Ten Books I Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To and this is the topic for which I have N number of books to list down. Like seriously! Probably you know that how lazy I am and the books keep piling on my uncontrollable-never-ending TBR stack 😀 Probably I ended up buying and requesting more books than I should have been. But yet, here I am.. no regrets 😀

Stacking the Shelves #14 | First book haul of 2018!

Stacking the Shelves

Happy Saturday guys!! So the first Saturday of 2018. How are you guys feeling? How were these few days of 2018 been so far? Mine is quite similar to the days of 2017 😛 Just office work and all. One of my goal of 2018 is to purchase fewer books and I guess this week successfully passed 😛 (Let’s see for how many weeks I can continue this!) But yes, I did get some review copies and a few of my NetGalley requests got accepted. So I guess my TBR is still going to increase anyway 😀 So let’s see what I gathered in the first week of 2018.
