Guys, this book was incredible and I wasn’t really expecting it to be so good. It was brutal but honest. I seriously have so many feelings about this book that, maybe, this review doesn’t justify it. You know, sometimes you come across such books where you feel so happy that you read it and become sad thinking about the actual story. This is what exactly happened to me for this book. This story is about Kiko, who is half Asian (a Japanese-American). She is trying to find her place in life while dealing with the stress of her family and her narcissistic mother, who is always surrounded by her own thoughts and always considered Kiko as inferior. She deals with her childhood trauma and social anxiety while in search of her real motive and the aim to get admission in an art school.
Happy Tuesday guys! After skipping a few weeks, I am back and today’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is Top Ten Books I’m Thankful For (Happy Thanksgiving week in the USA!). But as you can see from the title, that today I have just a list of 7 titles (I hardly managed these too 🙁 ).
I wish Happy Thanksgiving to all the people in the US and all those who celebrate it 🙂 I hope you enjoy it. So let’s see which are the books I am thankful for.
