Backlist Review | The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

The Sun is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon

I am such a sucker for cute romances and this book was no less. You must have heard how this book is all about insta-love and how people usually hate that. I agree. I too hate insta-loves in most of the cases, but this book doesn’t fall into that case, for me. Despite insta-love-y storyline, in the beginning, I loved it because it was more than that. I loved both Daniel and Natasha as the characters and I loved Nicola Yoon’s writing, though it was my first ever read of hers.

Book Review | The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur | Brutal but Heartfelt!

The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur

Rupi Kaur’s first book Milk and Honey was the first modern poetry book that I read and I loved it. That book was a huge success. So when I found out about her new book I instantly pre-ordered it and when it arrived I read it immediately too (yes only the review is late 😛 ). I had really great expectations from this book as well, and I would say that though not AS GOOD AS Milk and Honey, it was quite close to it and I totally enjoyed it (enjoyed in a sad way? ). This collection is an extension to Milk and Honey .

Book Review | Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal | Funny, dark and authentic

Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows : Book review

Before reading any further, just keep one thing in mind: This book is NOT just what the title says! I know, whenever anyone sees this title, the first thing that comes to mind is that it contains just the erotic stories. So if anyone doesn’t read Erotica, (s)he will certainly not pick this. Even, I thought so in the place but since I like reading Erotica, I didn’t mind. But today, when I am writing this review, I am really happy that I read this book. It has some erotic stories but yet it is a tale of self-being and expressing your desires openly. This book has so much going on beyond the steamy title.
